As a 100% subsidiary of Parmenides Foundation, Center for Applied Thinking (C.A.T.) has the task to translate the insights gained in basic research into practical applications for the private sector. As Parmenides Foundations scientific focus is the phenomenon of thinking, C.A.T. focuses on challenges in the private sector that require “good thinking”. The main focus is the support of complex reasoning and decision-making processes in large private companies.
Parmenides Foundation has granted exclusive distribution rights for Parmenides EIDOS™ – Visual Reasoning and Knowledge Representation to C.A.T., who sells licences for Parmenides EIDOS™ Software Packages to its clients. C.A.T. maintains and continually improves the EIDOS™ Suite based on new insights of research activities, user requirements as well as experiences from our work with our clients. Currently version 7.5 of EIDOS™ – Visual Reasoning and Knowledge Representation contains a large number of new features.
