Parmenides Meeting Efficiency™  Users and Implementation

The user group is easily defined as all employees involved in organising and attending meetings. This includes members of the back office, the administrative department, business development, marketing and sales – anyone who does not directly contribute to the production process.

In seeking to increase the return on the time and resources invested in meetings Parmenides MEETING EFFICIENCY™ pursues a corporate approach. We do not, therefore, supply individual licences, but corporate or organisation-wide licences only.

Parmenides MEETING EFFICIENCY™ makes use of a typically a lean and efficient implementation process. The vast majority of users are trained by means of a set of video podcast self-learning modules. A small group of “superstars” will receive advanced on-site training as the first step in creating an in-house technical and methodological support team.

An optional but highly recommended part of the implementation process is an assessment of current meeting practice within the organisation’s process landscape, following which a set of customised meeting architectures is developed for regular meetings.

The final step on the way to creating a true learning organisation concerns the meeting documentation and the creation of a “Meeting Backbone”. The automatically created documentation system ensures the transparency and traceability of the thought processes and decisions taken at the organisation’s meetings. It is also a powerful means of accessing lessons learned in the past and ensures a high degree of knowledge reutilisation.
