In addition to the international workshop series the Munich based Parmenides Center for the Study of Thinking has been featuring invited guest talks in the context of its research seminars. Since its formation the Parmenides Foundation has been staging a series of international workshops with the aim to evoking and fostering dialogue and collaboration between researchers from a wide range of disciplines. The organising principle for these meeting has been the credo that a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere supports the openness and creativity needed for overcoming disciplinary boundaries and jointly breaking new ground. -> More
A further major event on the agenda is the Parmenides Faculty Plenary held every other year. The goal is to create a forum for the members of the faculty and research team allowing interdisciplinary dialogue and exchanging current findings and methods in the field of research on thinking. The plenaries have so far proven to be intellectually inspiring symposia which brought together a large group of internationally renowned researchers with a diverse range of scientific backgrounds and interests. -> More
