The Parmenides core team consists of a multi-disciplinary group of research scientists coming from experimental psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, theoretical physics, and theoretical biology. The team meets periodically at the Parmenides Foundation in Munich. Guest lecturers are invited to these meetings on a regular basis.

The Board of Trustees monitors the adherence to the intention of the founder as well as the management of the foundation by the Secretary General. Furthermore the board of trustees takes decisions of crucial importance to the foundation such as the establishment of research centers or transactions needing approval from the regulating authorities.
