Prof. Dr. Martin Hirsch

Prof. Dr. Martin Hirsch studied human biology at the Philipps University of Marburg and received his doctorate in neuroscience. He is the founder of various companies and continues his research work as an independent researcher. His special interests are cognitive neuroscience, knowledge representation through semantic models and technologies to support human decision making. Prof. Dr. Martin Hirsch is one of the founders of Ada Health, a health and technology company founded in 2010, for which he continues to work in an advisory capacity. On January 1st, 2020 Martin Hirsch was appointed to the newly established professorship "Artificial Intelligence in Medicine" at the Faculty of Medicine of the Philipps University of Marburg and the University Hospital of Marburg where he and a team of scientists and doctors will research and develop solutions to improve patient care.
